Basketball Update: This week started a big stretch of home games for us, and it was also our first game with our new player, Chavaughn Lewis. We added him a week or so ago, and he is a much needed addition for our squad. Ostrow is below us in the standings, but they had just beaten our next opponent, Anwil, who has the top budget in the league by twenty at their place. Basketball Update: We had a big matchup this week (I know I say this a lot, but this one really was, I promise) on the road at Słupsk (pronounced Swoopsk). They were one game ahead of us in the standings, and their gym is notoriously difficult to play in. Their fans are probably the best in the league, besides ours, of course, and the gym itself is very weird. Both games were on the road, our first was at Lublin. Lublin is a good club that was in the finals last year and won the Polish Supercup at the beginning

Basketball Update: We lost to a really good Legia team who, as I mentioned last week, are the reigning champs and are undefeated. We hung in the game for a while, but they showed in the 2nd half why they're undefeated and pulled away from us to win pretty handily. We had a great home crowd of about five thousand. The fans really showed out, so it sucked to lose in front of them. I played probably my best offensive game of the season but was not great on defense. We lost 71 -

Basketball Update: Our much-anticipated matchup against Szczecin was on Saturday. It was really cool to see Coach, Andy, Phil, and Fifi back where they won a championship three years ago. It was our third game at home out of the four we have had, so it was important for us to win in front of our fans because we have failed to do so thus far.
